MFG invites applications for scholarships
PANAJI — With an aim to promote professional and technical education in the mining belt, the Mineral Foundation of Goa (MFG), has invited applications from students for scholarships.

The scholarships are for the academic year 2008-09 and only for students who have completed their higher secondary education in Goa and who live in the mining belt. The scholarship will cover the tuition and college hostel fees for the duration of the course.

The courses on offer are medicine, dental, homeopathy, Ayurveda, pharmacy, nursing, engineering degree, architecture, fine arts, home science, B Ed, law, masters degrees from Goa University, MBA, and all diploma and ITI courses from government institutes.

The forms are available at MFG office. The last date to submit applications is September 30.

Date of Exam : 20/04/08 between 2.00 PM – 5.00 PM.
The entrance examination shall be conducted for all the seats in the private unaided homoeopathic colleges.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

A candidate who has completed 1 year compulsory internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 08/07/2008 to can appear for APGH-CET-2008.

Teachers Training Programme in Homeopathy by CCH
  In addition to the ROTP programme by AYUSH Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH) has been decided to conduct Teachers Training Programme (TTP) in all the 12 subjects of BHMS, one programme for two days each of 4 sessions for all the teachers of UG Colleges separately.
  
  These may be conducted in different zones/areas of the country. It has further been decided to make a panel of trainers out of the names to be collected from all such colleges subject wise and also from all the members of CCH. The trainers will be given 2nd AC train fare with DA, but if they are members of CCH TA/DA will be paid as for attending the council meetings.
  
  CCH secretary Dr.Lalit Verma requested all those who wish to become a trainer/teacher should submit a detailed bio data including their experience and ability in the subject concerned to the CCH through head of the Institution.
